Appointment of EAJC Vice President.

Yuri Konstantinovich Raskin is appointed Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Vice-President.
Mathematician by training (Ph.D. in Economics), Y.K.Raskin was in charge of the Research and Production Association "INEKS", and since the beginning of 1990s he is engaged in business.
In 1997 he joined Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) Presidium as a charity programs sponsor and a leader of the RJC branch in Nizhni Novgorod.
In 2002-2003 he held the office of RJC Executive Vice-President. He gained several public awards for patron ship and organization of charity activities in the Russian Jewish community.
EAJC entrusted Y.K. Raskin with the duty of leading the "Razvitie" ("Development") project.
