EAJC President Visit to Russia.

Moscow-Yekaterinburg, Russia, April 3-5, 2006
On April 3-5, 2006, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) President Alexander Machkevitch visited Russia.
A. Mashkevich arrived in Moscow on the Kazakhstan official delegation headed by Noursultan Nazarbayev, the Republic of Kazakhstan President. This was the first Kazakhstan leader foreign trip after his reelection as the head of the state.
During the visit, the EAJC President participated in the meeting of N. Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. Besides, as a part of official events, being also the Eurasian Industrial Association (EIA) head, A. Machkevitch signed an agreement with the Russian Vnesheconombank.
Then, the EAJC President departed to Yekaterinburg (Russia), where, on April 5, 2006, he held a working meeting with the Sverdlovsk area Governor Eduard Rossel. During the negotiations, prospects of transboundary business and humanitarian co-operation were discussed.
