EAJC Charity Concert for the World War II Jewish Veterans.

Festive concert dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Great Victory over the Nazis took place in the "Shalom" - Moscow Jewish Theater on May 5, 2005. The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) organized the concert in honor of the Jewish veterans of World War II.
Famous artists took part in the concert and performed songs in Russian and Yiddish. The veterans especially enjoyed the songs of the war time that reminded them of their heroic youth.
Federation of the Jewish Organizations and Communities - Vaad of Russia - which is part of the EAJC also contributed to the event. At the concert each veteran was presented with The Book of Times and Events Volume IV written by Felix Kandel that describes Soviet Jewish history during the time of the war.
The Book was also presented to a group of war participants at the memorial service held two days earlier.
