                  ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION "CAUCASUS DOES NOT MEAN TERRORISM" / EAJC PARTICIPATION

                  Moscow, Russia, September 29, 2004
                  Round-Table Discussion "Caucasus Does Not Mean Terrorism" took place in "President-Hotel" Moscow on September 29, 2004. Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of Russian Azerbaijani ("AZERROS") organized the meeting.
                  Head of "AZERROS" Soyun Sadykov, Russian MP Aslanbek Aslakhanov, Islamic scientist Gasym Kerimov, World Charity Foundation "Kids And Youth against Terrorism And Extremism" leadership as well as representatives of the Russian Government, North Caucasian regions of Russia and Russian Orthodox Church spoke during the Round-Table Discussion.
                  On behalf of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) and Federal Jewish National-Cultural Autonomy (FJNCA) of Russia Head of the EAJC Public Relations and Media Department Roman Spektor took part in the Round-Table Discussion. In his address he urged to enlarge the scale and geography of the existing Dialog within the framework of EAJC similar international initiatives as well as to further develop new law to regulate legal relationships between the Russian state and extraterritorial ethnic minorities.
                  As a result of the Round-Table Discussion a resolution was adopted, which denounces terrorism and any attempts to break peaceful relations among Russian peoples.
