A workshop for the secondary school teachers held in the network of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress`s "Tolerance - the Lesso

                  29.01.2003

"Tolerance – the Lessons of Holocaust" workshop will be held in Almaty on February 7-10. Secondary school teachers from the central Asian republics and Kazakhstan have been invited for the new project organized by the "Mitzva" Association of Jewish National Organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
The importance of the topic "Tolerance" is determined by what is currently going on in the world.
The most effective means of avoiding intolerance in the society is teaching tolerance.
The objective of the workshop is to prepare teacher for the work in the project.
The project's methodologist Svetlana Kandeeva; candidate of philosophy science Tatian Chaika; the director of the Ukrainian Centre for Holocaust history studies, candidate of historical science Anatoliy Podolskiy, will share their experience in organizing and conducting the program.
We hope that the project will teach students, and not only students, to respect themselves as well as the representatives of other nationalities.
