The first attempt to systematize documentary materials on history of Jews in Ural.
11.12.2002 On December 6, 2002, by the decennary from the date of official creation of Sverdlovsk Judaic association, the book by I.E.Antropov and M.I.Oshtrah "The History of Jews in Ural. The catalogue of archives of Sverdlovsk, Perm and Tyumen areas" was released in publishing house of the Ural State University.
This scientific edition - the first attempt to systematize documentary materials on history of Ural Jews. The book briefly investigates occurrence and residing of Jews in Ural. There is the catalogue of documents from the state archives of Sverdlovsk, Perm and Tyumen regions - the result of long-term work of the authors. The Appendix contains a number of materials of personal character, including first editions of the verses by A.Sobol devoted to Sofia Simanovskaya. The circulation of the book is 300 copies.
