Mr. Alexander Mashkevich President Jewish Congress of Kazakhstan, Presidenf of EAJC

                  Dear Alexander:
I was delighted to read in today`s Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) about your sponsoring a rabbinicai visit in Kazakhstan, in the belief that Kazakhstan has the potential to become a center of international Jewish-Muslim dialogue. It is significant that such a dialogue was launched by a Jewish organization in a Muslim country, with a message of improving relations between Israel, world Jewry and Islam.
I have followed your work and involvement in every facet of Jewish life and had the pleasure of meeting you during the conference in Moscow and again in Jerusalem, during the 34th World Zionist Congress.

                  Best regards,
                  Kalman Sultanik
