Establishment of the Council of Rabbis under the EAJC.
21.10.2002 During the I-st International Conference of Rabbis of Euro-Asia there was adopted the resolution to found the Council of EAJC Rabbis.
Among the members of the Council of EAJC Rabbis there are the Chief Rabbi of Kazakhstan E.Kogen, the Chief Rabbi of Russia A.Shayevich, the Chief Rabbi of Moscow P.Goldshmidt, the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Y.Bleich, etc.
The same day, according to the agenda of the Conference, there took place the meeting of the Council of Rabbis and the highest management of the Spiritual Administration of Kazakhstan Moslems (SAMK). SAMK was represented by the acting Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan, the Head of the SAKM Department E. Hadji Duanayev; the rector of the Islamic University of Kazakhstan and the member of SAMK Presidium M. Hadji Mynbayev.
The head of State Council Secretariat on Religion A. Mukashev represented the Kazakhstan government.
At the end of the day rabbis met Jewish community of Almaty.
