                  On September 27th, 2002 the Israeli representative delegation visited Moscow office of EAGC and VAAD of Russia. It happened two days before the official visit of the Prime Minister of Israel Ariel Sharon to Moscow on invitation of Secretary General of Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), the President of VAAD in Russia and the Head of Zionist Federation "Moria" Mikhail Chlenov.
                  The delegation was headed by the leader of Jewish agency for Israel ("Sokhnut") and World Zionist Organization (WZO) - Salay Meridor who came to Moscow to discuss the results of the 34th World Zionist Congress and mutual relations between WZO and the federation "Moria".
                  From Israeli part the meeting was attended by: the Chief of "Sokhnut" department on Eastern Europe and the former USSR affaires Amos Lakhat, the head of "Sokhnut" Representative office in CIS Carol Ungar and other official persons. Leaders of main fractions of Zionist Federation "Moria" represented Russian part.
                  The meeting participants have assured one another in inseparable links between Israel and Jewish Diaspora in Russia and CIS. S.Meridor described his position and conditions of membership at WZO for Zionist federations of the former USSR.
                  In response speech there were expressed the remarks in respect of duo standard policy applied to Zionist movement in states of CIS. "Policy of restraining the competent membership of Zionist organizations of the former USSR and WZC prejudices democracy of the World Zionist Organization and causes detriment to links between post-Soviet Jewry and their historical fatherland", - concluded M.Chlenov.
