The delegation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) has taken part in the “Albania - A Country for Investments” business forum that took place in Tirana, the capital of Albania. The forum was organized by the Meinl Bank and the Albanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The 80th anniversary of the Jewish Autonomous Region of Russia were held in Birobidzan with EAJC support. The many exuberant performances in Birobidzhan’s venues created a colorful festival program, which hosted delegations from many countries, including Israel, Chinea, and the USA, as well as leaders of leading Russian and international Jewish NGOs, including the Director General of the Federal Jewish National Cultural Autonomy (FJNCA) Evgeniya Mikhaleva.
The “Shorashim - Roots and Future of Diaspora Jews” (“Shorashim-Caucasus-2014”) children’s camp took place in Bakuriani (Georgia) on August 20-31, 2014.
The Albanian Jewish community has sent an official application to join the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), in which it informs the governing bodies of the Congress of the unequivocal decision to join the EAJC.
On August 20, 2014, the” Shorashim - Roots and Future of Diaspora Jews” (“Shorashim-Caucasus=2014”) children’s camp began work in Bakuriani (Georgia). Camp participants include children from the Caucasus region, who are both resting in a Jewish atmosphere and learning many new things about the history and traditions of their people.
The traditional International Children’s Camp “Roots of Tolerance” took place near Chisinau, at the Dacia-Marin resort (Vadul-Luy-Vode) on August 3-13, 2013.
A working visit of the Union of Councils for Soviet Jewry (UCSJ) to Kyiv took place on August 17-20. The delegation included UCSJ President and Executive Director Larry Lerner, Director of International Bureaus and Activities Leonid Stonov, Board of Directors member Dr. Joel Sandberg, and noted political scientist Stephen Eric Bronner. The visit was prepared by VAAD Ukraine and the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Kyiv office.
