02.11.2017, Israel and the World Israel Air Force jets reportedly fired on an ammunition warehouse in Syria Wednesday evening. Arab media has reported that anti-aircraft missiles were fired but missed the Israeli planes. The report, published by Hebrew-language Channel 10, indicated that IAF planes patrolling the Lebanese coast north of Beirut, but suddenly broke eastward and descended to a “medium” height over the city of Baalbek. Four attacks were reported, including one on an ammunition warehouse in an industrial zone near the city of Homs.

Syrian media reported that the Syrian army responded to the Israeli attack with 72 millimeter surface-to-air missiles at the Israeli aircraft. The reports also indicated that Syrian war planes were engaged to prevent an Israeli incursion deep into Syrian territory.
The IDF has not responded to the reports.
