Netanyahu to meet President Trump in Washington in February
23.01.2017, Israel and the World US President Donald Trump has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to come to Washington to meet him in February.
The invitation was made during a phone conversation between the two men on Sunday evening., described by the PM’s Office as ‘’a very warm conversation.’’
A final date for the visit will be set in the days ahead.
Netanyahu expressed his desire ‘’to work closely with President Trump to forge a common vision to advance peace and security in the region, with no daylight between the United States and Israel.’’
The two leaders discussed the nuclear deal with Iran, the peace process with the Palestinians and other issues.
