Anti-Semitic insults in the center of Budapest
30.12.2015 Anti-Semitic insults were hurled at a group of people identified as Jews in the historic Jewish quarter of the center of Budapest.
According to the Forum against anti-Semitism in Hungary. six individuals who appeared to be inebriated began shouting “dirty Jews” at the victims, as well of accusing them of “killing Jesus.”
Some 110,000 Jews live in Budapest.
In 2014, the Jewish community has monitored a total of 37 anti-Semitic incidents in the country similar to that reported this week.
