23.09.2015, Religion Starting today at sundown and until Saturday night, the Jewish people in Israel and the entire world will be celebrating Yom Kippur — Judgment Day, the holiest of days in the Jewish calendar.
Traditionally, Yom Kippur is a day of fasting, of repentance, and of absolution of past sins. On the day before Yom Kippur it is traditional to ask forgiveness not only of the Almighty, but of all the people whom one might have offended or done harm to in the last year.
The EAJC website asks forgiveness of any and all whom we might have offended willingly or unwillingly. We wish all of our readers an easy fast and a good inscription and seal.
