The body of Ohana, 28, was discovered in a lake not far from the town. Ohana’s family members have been notified.

On the second day of the holiday, Amir went to the forest with his friend to meditate, but they decided to do it separately. It was the last time Ohana was seen alive.

The search team included local and Israeli police, as well as ZAKA, a voluntary community emergency response team.

“There’s no suspicion of murder. He suffered some disease (presumably, epilepsy), fell into the lake and died. The search operation lasted three days, and there was a lot of modern equipment used in it, including drones and helicopters. The search teams included professional divers, who specialize in cases like this, to search the lake. The whole operation was very well coordinated and the team was always in touch with the Embassy and consulate of Israel in Ukraine”, Elshanan Stauber, ZAKA rescue team member, commented to JewishNews.com.ua.
