On June 16, 2015, the leader of the pro-Russian puppet regime of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic” Igor Plotnitsky made yet another anti-Semitic statement while giving a talk in the Russian Federation.
The leader of the Luhansk terrorists gave a lecture titled “Contemporary Ukraine as Fascist State of a New Type” at the Nekrasov State University of Kostroma. He began his speech with the following:
“I’d like to ask the historians... Or maybe the philologists, can’t choose, really. Why was it called the “Euromaidan”? Where did the name come from? From the territory? Or mayhap from the people? Those same people who now make up the majority of leaders of what was once our Ukraine? (“Jews” is “evrei” in Russian. - transl.) I have nothing against... Valtzman, Groysman, and many others. I have nothing against the Jews as a people, as the chosen people, we can talk about this separately if we have the time. But the crux of the matter is that when we call what has happened a “Euromaidan,” we infer that the leaders now are representatives of the people who have been harmed the most by Nazism...”
Notably, this is not the first anti-Semitic statement by the leader of the puppet regime. Earlier Igor Plotnitsky and the leader of Donetsk collaborators Alexander Zakharchenko both quite adamantly stated that Ukraine is being led by “sorry Jews.”
Igor Plotnitsky, in turn, has been called a “strange kike” by representatives of the “Cossack” division of Russian occupants, who controlled the city of Stahanov (Luhansk region) and were headed by Igor Dremov.
