Israel considers Crimea to be Ukrainian, but won’t join in sanctions against Russia

                  Ambassador Eliav Belotserkovsky

Israel considers Crimea to be Ukrainian, but won’t join in sanctions against Russia

                  04.06.2015, Israel and the World

However, Israel is not planning to join in the sanctions against Russia.
"As for the sanctions, it was an initiative of the Western countries,” Belotserkovsky said.
“We have our own policy with regard to Russia. We hope that the conflict in the Donbas will be resolved peacefully, and at this stage we do not believe that Israel's accession to the sanctions would be appropriate in order to achieve this goal.”
