Hundreds of people, many waving Israeli flags, marched in central Prague Sunday to protest the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe.
The 12th ‚‘March of Good Will‘‘, that was held under the motto Culture against anti-Semitism, was organised by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ).
Among the participants were several Holocaust survivors and some hundred young Germans who came to Prague for the occasion.
The march started in the Franz Kafka Square in the former Jewish quarter and culminated with a cultural programme in the Wallenstein garden that surrounds the Senate building where the rally was addressed by Holocaust survivors, Israeli ambassador Gary Koren, Prague councillor Jan Wolf, Senate deputy chairman Premysl Sobotka and Czech Culture Minister Daniel Herman.
