                  24-year-old Boris Giltburg is one of the most promising young pianists in Israel and has aklready played with some of the best orchestras in the world.

                  An young Israeli pianist, Boris Giltburg, is among the twelve finalists of the Brussels Queen Elisabeth Competition, one of the most prestigious in the world.
                  Candidates from nine different nationalities will perform from May 27 to June 1 for the final, after spending a week at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel where they will discover the unique imposed concerto, a sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert and a concerto of their choice.
                  The other finalists are Tatiana Chernichka (Russia), Zhang Zuo (China), Remi Geniet (France), Roope Gröndahl (Finland), Stanislav Khristenko (Russia), Liu Yuntian (China), Andrew Tyson (USA), Sangyoung Kim (Korea), David Fung (Australia), Sean Kennard (USA) and Mateusz Borowiak (UK-Poland).
                  24-year-old Boris Giltburg is one of the most promising young pianists in Israel.
                  He played with some of the best orchestras in the world. He was shortlisted for the Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist Award 2008.
                  In 2011 Giltburg won the second prize in the International Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition, which is the highest achievement of any Israeli pianist in the history of this competition.
