Russian PM sends greetings for the New Year

Russian PM sends greetings for the New Year

                  19.09.2012, Jews and Society

To the Chief Rabbi of Russia, Rabbi Berel Lazar:
Please accept my good wishes for the Jewish New Year. This day is connected to spiritual renewal, with noble thoughts, and with good hope for the future.
The Jewish values, the Jewish tradition of making peace, giving respect and assisting others, are of great importance to humanity, and they have become an inseparable part of the culture and history of our country Russia.
Especially important is the fact that the Jewish communities in Russia now run a wide range of charitable activities and contribute greatly to peace and harmony between different nations and religions in our country.
I wish His Honor and all the Jews of Russia all the best and good health for the New Year.
