Cameron: Toulouse events show that search for freedom from fear ‘is not yet over’

British Prime Minister David Cameron sent his wishes to British Jews and Jews across the world for a the "very happy and peaceful Pesach", the holiday of Passover.
"I want to send my very best wishes to Jewish communities in Britain and across the world as the festival of Passover begins," Cameron wrote in a letter.
He added, "Passover marks the Children of Israel’s release from slavery and the liberation of a people from tyranny. The horrific attack last month at the Ozar Hatorah Jewish School in Toulouse has shown that sadly the search for freedom from fear is not yet over. I join with you in hoping that the coming year will bring about security and a lasting peace for Israel and the wider region. This government remains firmly committed to supporting you in that goal."
"I wish you and your family a very happy and peaceful Pesach."
Cameron’s great-great grandmother was a descendant of a Danish Jewish family and his great-great grandfather Emile Levita was a descendanr of Renaissance scholar Elia Levita.
