The birth of a new club in Astana

We have recently gathered in Hesed to get acquainted with new literature at our library, and someone dropped a phrase that had made a pleasant discovery of drawings and illustrations in books. It is especially nice when there are good illustrations in the books of your favorite writers.
We are looking at the books of Dina Rubina "Jerusalem syndrome", "In Russia, we must live for a long time," Syndrome of Petrushka" and many others. Of course, Dina Ilinichna is always a great writer. Here is a modest edition of her "Cold Spring in Provence", which also contains the work of the great artist, illustrator and the writer’s husband Boris Karafelov. How gorgeous the pastel watercolors accompanying the written novel! The synergy of the two talents.
Our literature review led to the conclusion that we should hold our meetings regularly. There are many art lovers among us. Over the years we have been collecting albums of the world museums. We have an idea to classify the collection according to genres, historical periods ranging from the biblical times. At some point we can come up with an independent club of art lovers. We even have a guide in the world of beauty. This is our volunteer, highly respected Leonid Lazarevic Karp, MD, Professor. The sooner we start our meetings the more we learn.
