Fellowship Foundation Aids Mariupol Youngsters
12.08.2010, Community Life The Jewish community of Mariupol recently completed a charitable program in their ongoing children's assistance campaign. This time around, the program provided needy youngsters in this Ukrainian town with food packages. This humanitarian aid was made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Fellowship Foundation, otherwise known as the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
Each recipient received a variety of foods in their parcels including flour, sunflower oil, sugar, mayonnaise, rice, pasta, chicken, canned fish, oatmeal cookies and bagels. All products are, of course, certified kosher.
The Jewish community of Mariupol expressed gratitude to the Fellowship Foundation and especially to its head, Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, for the help and attention the organization shows towards needy children in the Former Soviet Union.
