Kids Camp Is Over
02.08.2010, Community Life Traditionally Sokhnut organized summer camps for various age groups. This year kids from our region had fun in a Sokhnut camp near Odessa dedicated to Jewish history from Avraham to the State of Israel.
To make the learning process interesting for the kids of 11-13 the whole camp was one big role play. The children stayed at Sefer castle with the sage Safran and his two sons Tam and Chacham, and Safran doesn’t know to whom give his Library. So the six tribes had to study the Book of History to help the sage.
According to the organizers the children didn’t just study the stories from history but also started writing new ones in a happy and casual and relaxed atmosphere, and their stories were full of kindness and warmth.
