Rafah opens after two-month closure
03.03.2010, Israel and the World For the first time in two months, the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza opened on Monday. The crossing is set to remain open for three days, with some 7,000 scheduled to exit the Strip.
According to the de facto government in Gaza, three days are insufficient to ensure the transport in and out of Gaza of the thousands more who are registered to leave.
