The legendary Dnepropetrovsk musician and outstanding pianist Oleg Karpov is 55. During the first meeting of his club he told that the regional state administration rewarded him with a sign of honor which he took to his mother as his success is first of all the merit and joy of hers.

The main guest of the meeting was Oleg Rostovtsev, the author and host of the popular TV program.

Viacheslav Dubinsky, the usual participant of the club, sang a song to the poem by Valentina Trachtman, a well-known poet, who couldn’t come because of a trauma.

The Oleg Rostovtsev spoke at length about history, cultural differences, Ukraine, Israel, Famine, UPA and Shukhevich, Yiddishkeit, etc. His speech was accepted with interest, and several issues caused discussions.

Poet Ludmila Nekrasovskaya also participated in the event and read her poem.

At the end everyone congratulated Oleg Karpov on his anniversary, and Elena Levikova presented him with a book.
