Three pro-Palestinian protesters were evicted from a Melbourne hotel on Sunday, after trying to gain entry to the Australia Israel Leadership Forum, where Vice Premier Silvan Shalom is in attendance, along with a delegation comprising of MKs Avi Dichter, Ronit Tirosh, Ronnie Bar-On, Daniel Ben-Simon and Nachman Shai.

The Australian Associated Press quoted police as saying that the three were thrown out as hundreds of other anti-Israel protesters tried to breach police lines as the Park Hyatt Hotel.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The demonstration came days after hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrated the Israeli delegation's arrival in Canberra on Thursday morning.

According to Army Radio, the protesters had chanted slogans such as "Israel is a war criminal" and "Silvan Shalom should not be allowed into Australia."
