Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday that Israel would not attack Iran without consulting the United States and that Jerusalem clearly saw sanctions as the next step to deal with Teheran’s nuclear program.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak and US Middle East envoy George Mitchell discussed ways to resume stalled peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians during a meeting at the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv on Friday morning.
