Ariel Bulshtein, adviser to the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has announced that Israel has refused to sell weapons to Georgia, at Russia’s request.
Natan Sharansky is being recognized for his lifelong struggle for human rights, political freedom and for his service to the Jewish people and the State of Israel.

The meeting comes amid contentious bilateral issues between the two countries, particularly on Russia’s role in the Middle East, and Naama Issachar, who was sentenced in Russia for drug smuggling.
