EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherni has expressed support for the idea of creating a European task force to combat anti-Semitism, in a statement published in Italian daily La Repubblica.
The exhibition 'Tree of life – The Jews of Hungary, 1981-2004' at Beit Hatfutsot in Tel Aviv displays a selection of 40 photographs taken by Andres Lacko. It reflect the changes in the lives of Hungarian Jews from the 1980s to the early 2000s.
There have been Jews in Iran for more than 2,500 years. Many left the country after the Islamic Revolution in 1979 that brought Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to power.
Organizers of the referendum said that 2,056 total votes were cast in the school-wide referendum, which was proposed by the Students' Union on advice from the BDS movement as part of the Israel Apartheid Week.
